Graduation Daily ’09 – Faculty of Business & Law – Friday 27th November
Posted by: | Comments
Our Winter graduation ceremonies took place on Friday at our Headingley Campus.
The team from the Faculty of Business & Law were joined by staff from the University’s Communications team in the Helpzone at Headingley Campus for the duration of the ceremonies, reporting on the day’s events through our website.
Graduands, friends and relatives were invited to contribute to coverage of the event, so those who were unable to be there were still able to enjoy the graduation celebrations via our website.
As well as the official photography on the day, University photographers snapped their way through the ceremonies and across the campus. Photos appeared in galleries throughout the day and can be viewed here.
Budding photographers who think they can rival the professionals were able to share their images from the day by emailing them to us at graduationpics@leedsmet.ac.uk. The team selected and uploaded the best throughout the day.
Leeds Met’s team of roving reporters were out and about to record impressions of the day, times at Leeds Met and personal messages. These were then uploaded to the Graduation website.
All the Graduation ceremonies are streamed live through the website and can be viewed afterwards. Families can view the ceremonies live and graduates can watch it for themselves afterwards.
Between broadcasting the ceremonies live, the University’s video team were filming around campus to capture the atmosphere. Video edits are available on the University’s YouTube channel and website.
Teams of profilers from the Faculty were out and about asking students about their time at University and takling photographs; these will then be uploaded to the website.
