What are good graduation gifts?
ByI’m getting graduation gifts for a male and female graduating from high school and headed to college in another state. I want to get them each a nice gift, but can’t afford a car, a trip, etc. I’d appreciate your suggestions on gifts you have received or seen someone else receive or that you think would be great to receive. They each already have iPod, cell phone, camera, etc. and I’d like to find something that they would still treasure or enjoy years down the road, not something like a shirt that would be discarded in a year or two. Thanks!

Coming from a grad, unless you are getting us a ipod laptop phone..etc…we’re not going to have it in a few years, or we’ll leave it at home and lt it collect dust.
Its all about $$$$$$, just give them that.

As a recent high school grad I can say money or a gift card is always appreciated. Or if they’re going off to college in another state (like I did) something for their dorm or apartment is nice, and will probably be kept for a while. Like a plant, or a poster/picture, or alarm clock. Something small that’s not too hard to move.

Do either of them own a laptop, or do you think they may have one once they head off to college in the fall?
